hot chicken biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breast cut in ½
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbl hot sauce
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 cups canola oil
  • 2 tbl cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbl brown sugar
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 package biscuits
  • honey

Instructions

  1. bake biscuits according to package directions
  2. season chicken and flour with salt and pepper
  3. mix eggs, buttermilk and hot sauce in a shallow dish and add chicken
  4. put flour in a shallow dish
  5. heat canola oil in a high sided skillet or pot
  6. dredge chicken in flour and fry on both sides until cooked through, 4-5 minutes per side
  7. mix remaining ingredients in a heatproof bowl
  8. add ½ cup oil from pan and mix together
  9. brush chicken with hot oil and serve on a split biscuit with honey
