firecracker shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lime juiced and zested
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbl old bay seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 shallot minced
  • 1 tbl olive oil
  • 1 tbl butter
  • 2 lbs peeled and deveined shrimp

Instructions

  1. mix lime juice, and zest, hot sauce, cumin, crushed red pepper flakes and old bay seasoning
  2. toss seasoning mixture with shrimp
  3. heat butter and olive oil in a skillet
  4. saute shallots and garlic for 1 minute
  5. add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning to coat
