french dip sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 tbl butter
  • 1 shallot sliced
  • 1 tbl flour
  • 1 tbl worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can beef consume
  • 1 can beef broth
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 lb sliced deli roast beef
  • 4 long crusty rolls

Instructions

  1. cook shallot in butter until soft
  2. add flour and stir for 1 more minute
  3. add worcestershire sauce, beef consume and beef stock
  4. season with salt & pepper
  5. whisk together and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened
  6. dip meat into the broth and place on rolls
  7. serve french dip with a side of the broth for dipping
