asian chicken wings

Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken wings cut in 2 pieces, tips removed
  • 2 tbl olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbl ginger minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbl toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 scallions sliced

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. place a rack over a foil lined baking sheet
  3. mix wings with olive oil, salt & pepper
  4. bake wings for 25-30 minutes turning halfway through
  5. in a sauce pan combine sweet chili sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sriracha sauce to taste
  6. bring to a low boil
  7. combine with wings in a bowl and toss to coat
  8. serve topped with sesame seeds and scallions
