the big melt

Ingredients

  • 1 package ground beef or ground turkey
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 large ball fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 1 to mato sliced

Instructions

  1. preheat grill
  2. divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape into burgers
  3. season with salt and pepper.
  4. cook the burgers for 4 minutes per side
  5. grill tomatoes, flipping to char each side and remove
  6. top the burgers with the mozzarella cheese and close the grill cover
  7. melt the cheese for 1 minute
  8. place the burgers on the rolls and top with the grilled tomatoes
