spaghetti o’s and mini meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb O pasta
  • 1 lb meatloaf mix or ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 4 tbl milk
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1/3 cup locatelli cheese
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tbl olive oil
  • 1 jar tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. mix meatloaf mix, egg, bread crumbs, milk, garlic, locatelli cheese, salt & pepper
  2. form meat into mini meatballs 1 inch in diameter
  3. heat 2 tbl olive oil in a large skillet
  4. cook meatballs to brown on all sides 6-8 minutes
  5. add tomato sauce and simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes until meatballs are cooked through
  6. cook O pasta in boiling, salted water until done and serve with sauce and mini meatballs on top
