easy banana muffins with mini chocolate chips on top

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas mashed
  • 3 ⁄4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1 ⁄3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1 ⁄2 cups flour
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Mash bananas.
  3. Add sugar and slightly beaten egg.
  4. Add melted butter.
  5. Add the dry ingredients and mix gently
  6. Spray muffin tin or line with papers
  7. Fill mini muffin or cupcake tins with batter, 2/3 of the way
  8. Top with mini chocolate chips
  9. bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size.
