creamy crunchy corn

my favorite vegetable recipe ever, it is from my sister-in-law's baby shower
serves 8

  • one 20 oz package frozen corn
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal
  • salt & pepper


  1. in a large heavy skillet melt butter.
  2. stir in corn, sugar, and cornmeal.
  3. cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. season to taste with salt and pepper.
