baked apple

Ingredients

  • 4 honey crisp apples
  • 4 kraft caramels
  • 2 tbl flour
  • 3 tbl brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbl butter diced and cold
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. core apples, leaving bottom intact
  3. place a caramel in each apple
  4. mix flour, cinnamon, oats, cinnamon and salt
  5. cut in butter with a pastry blender or your fingers
  6. press mixture into each apple
  7. place apples in a baking dish
  8. pour apple cider around the apples
  9. bake for 1 hour
