spicy roasted chicken legs

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large package chicken legs

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. line a baking sheet with foil
  3. melt butter and add lemon juice, salt & pepper, cayenne pepper and garlic
  4. dip each chicken leg into the butter and place on the cookie sheet
  5. brush butter on the chicken legs
  6. bake for 20 minutes and baste again
  7. turn oven to broil, basting again
  8. broil for 10 minutes, turning and basting one last time halfway through and cook until browned

Recipe Notes

serve with sliced carrots cooked in apple cider and 1 tsp of cinnamon
