ravioli with a quick tomato sauce
serves

Ingredients
2
bags Andrea Ravioli®
6
tablespoons
salted butter
2
cups
cherry tomatoes
½
tsp
italian seasoning
1/2
cup
basil
cut into thin strips
salt & pepper
1/2
cup
freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
cook ravioli in boiling salted water
melt butter in a large sauce pan
add cherry tomatoes and cook until butter browns and tomatoes are soft, 7-10 minutes
mash tomatoes with a potato masher or the back of a spoon
add italian seasoning, salt & pepper and simmer for 3 minutes
add basil
drain ravioli
serve sauce over ravioli topped with grated parmesan cheese

I used tomatoes and basil from my garden and the sauce had a fresh summer taste!
