sausage and pepper sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 red pepper sliced
  • 1 green pepper sliced or a mix of italian peppers
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • salt & pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 package hot or sweet italian sausage
  • 4 long rolls
  • aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. preheat the grill
  2. spread 1 large sheet of aluminum foil out
  3. put peppers and onions on the foil
  4. season with oregano, salt & pepper
  5. drizzle with a little olive oil
  6. wrap and grill for 20 minutes until cooked
  7. grill sausages 5 minutes per side until cooked through
  8. place sausages on rolls and top with peppers and onions
