chinese style pork chops

Ingredients

  • 1 package thin sliced pork chops
  • 2 tbl soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • 1 tbl ginger , minced
  • 3 scallions , sliced thin
  • 1 tbl sesame oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 tbl peanut oil
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 tbl hoisin sauce

Instructions

  1. season pork chops with salt & pepper
  2. mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, scallions and sesame oil.
  3. marinate pork chops at room temperature for 20 minutes
  4. heat peanut oil in a large frying pan
  5. remove pork chops from marinade and reserve
  6. fry pork chops for 3 minutes on each side
  7. add the wine, hoisin sauce and the reserved marinade and cook on medium for a few minutes more
  8. don’t overcook or the pork chops will be tough
