chicken rustico

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with onion
  • 1 container fresh cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 2 fresh basil leaves , finely chopped
  • 1- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tbl olive oil

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. put canned tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil and italian seasoning in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish
  3. season chicken with salt & pepper and place on top of tomatoes
  4. drizzles with olive oil
  5. bake for 30 minutes until done
  6. serve with pasta or crusty bread or both!
