fry bacon over medium heat, until the bacon has curled a bit and the fat has turned translucent.

place bacon on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

leave remaining grease in frying pan.

make barbecue seasoning:

combine paprika, salt, pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder and cayenne powder.

sprinkle seasoning on both sides of each burger patty.

warm the bacon drippings in the frying pan over medium heat for about 1 minute, then add the burger patties, cooking two at a time—as much as your frying pan will allow, without letting the patties overlap.

cook for four minutes on each side.

place each cooked patty on a bun.

top the burgers with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, bacon and barbecue.
