giant pizza slices

Ingredients

  • 2 pizza doughs at room temperature
  • corn meal
  • 1 can or jar of pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • pepperoni

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 500 degrees
  2. dust 2 parchment lined baking sheets with a little cornmeal
  3. shape each pizza dough into a giant shaped slice
  4. palace dough in pan and shape top into a crust
  5. top each pizza with 1/3 cup sauce and 1 cup cheese, spreading it all the way to the edges of the slice, except on the top
  6. keep 1 slice plain and add sliced pepperoni on the other
  7. bake for 15 minutes
  8. turn around pan once, halfway through, until cheese is bubbly, and crust is browned on bottom
  9. let sit for 1 minute
  10. slice into wedges and serve
