grilled chicken wings

serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken wings cut in half, tips removed
  • 3 tbl olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 jar hot sauce
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. preheat grill
  2. toss wings in a bowl with olive oil, salt & pepper
  3. grill wings for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway as needed
  4. melt butter and hot sauce
  5. baste with some of the sauce for the last 5 minutes, then toss with the rest of the sauce

Recipe Notes

get the butcher to cut the wings in half and remove the tips - it saves time and money! they will cut them for free making them into wingettes that you would pay more for if you purchased them already packaged that way.
