combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, rice wine vinegar, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes

pout into a zip lock bag

season chicken thighs with salt & pepper and then add to the bag and let sit for 10 minutes or refrigerate overnight

broil chicken skin side down on the middle rack for 10 minutes

turn chicken a broil for 8 minutes

top chicken with sesame seeds and broil for 1-2 minutes until sesame seeds turn golden
