linguine with grape tomatoes, garlic and oil

Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine
  • 1 container red grape tomatoes
  • 1 container yellow grape tomatoes
  • small bunch of basil
  • 1 tbl garlic minced
  • ½ cup garlic olive oil
  • frozen red pepper cube or 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. put pasta up to cook in a large pot of salted boiling water
  2. heat oil in a large skillet and add grape tomatoes
  3. cook on low until tomatoes start to pop
  4. add garlic and pepper and cook until soft
  5. add cooked pasta and a little of the cooking water and stir to combine
  6. add salt and pepper to taste
  7. serve and top with grated parmesan cheese
