roasted orange chicken breasts

Ingredients

  • split chicken breasts cut in ½
  • salt & pepper
  • garlic powder
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 4 orange slices
  • ¾ cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tbl grande mariner

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 400-degrees
  2. season chicken with salt & pepper and garlic powder
  3. mix orange juice, marmalade and grande mariner
  4. place chicken in a baking dish and pour sauce over
  5. top with orange slices and bake for 30 minutes
  6. take off orange slices
  7. turn oven to broil and broil chicken for 5-7 minutes more
  8. top with orange slices and serve

Recipe Notes

get the butcher to cut the breasts in 1/2 for you and serve with steamed rice mixed with 1/2 cup shelled pistachio nuts
